Every year my Mum makes me a cake for my birthday. Well obviously I am in PA, and she is in the mitten so I didn't get a "Mummie" cake on or around my birthday. Which was heart breaking! However she did promise that next time I am home she will make my a birthday cake! So I am very excited about that!!!!
So I am sentimental, and homemade cakes mean everything to me. Thus my love for a birthday cake from my Mum every year. Well last year the boy decided to make me a birthday cake and it has now become a tradition that he makes me a cake each year. He has informed me that he gets one shot a year to perfect his skills.

With my shoe obsession this year he made me a "Flip Flop" cake!! Are you impressed? I am! The FH has some mad cake making skills!
Since the shoe cake went with the theme of the presents from my parents I figured I would include it with a picture of my loot! THANKS MUM AND DADDY! :] xoxo
When it came to dinner I decided that I really didn't want to go to The Cheesecake Factory, and go crazy on food. Eat some cheesecake, and come back and have cake and ice cream. So we went to Red Robin...yum! :]
I had a water with lemon to drink.
We got some guacamole (YUCK) Salsa and chips for an appetizer. We were suppose to get onion rings, but apparently the boy could not focus on ANYTHING I was saying, and didn't get it. So we got this instead. The cups that the guacamole and salsa come in are so cute!!! The salsa was too hot for me, and the guacamole was frozen...eeks!
For my meal I got the "Lettuce Wrapped Protein Burger" without onion and cheese, and added pickle. I didn't even steal any of the boys fries! Go me!!!
Since it was my birthday they brought me an ice cream sundae. Yum yum. I split it with the boy. So basically I was on a sugar high!
Chips & Salsa: 2 pts.
Lettuce Wrapped Protein Burger & Salad with balsamic: 10 pts.
Sundae: 3 pts.
Dinner: 15
I pretty much really maxed myself out for the day.
When we got back from Red Robin we celebrated my birthday!
My mum sent me a bunch of princess themed stuff. Although my birthday ended up being shoe themed and not princess.
YUM!!!! We bought vanilla ice cream with maraschino cherries in it... FABULOUS!
