5 steps you dont want to forget

5 crucial steps to not forget on your wedding day

1. Brows

One of my friends is an Esthetician and Makeup artist she has fixed many brides brows, and I have had many chats with her about brows come the wedding. While your brows may look find in everyday life, you have to remember that those close-up photos suddenly go HD on your brows. Photoshop will fix the problem at a costly price (trust me I know I charge people A LOT). You don't want to be caught plucking the morning of or risk redness from a wax. So make sure you get a wax the week of your wedding, and then pluck the night before!

2. Healthy Hair

If you are like me, and taking part in the bridal haircut boycott in order to get your locks nice and long for the big day let me offer you some tips. Every six to eight weeks you should go in and get your ends trimmed. Even if your hair is going to be in an updo you want it to look healthy and fresh. It would cut off the length and it will keep you from having ratty ends! Trust me! I worked in a salon, and I know how people are. You want to make sure you get the ever so slight trim. Also make an appointment for the ends to be tripped again a week or two before veil time. You will seriously regret this if you don't do it!

3. Moisturize

No matter if your wedding is spring, summer, winter or fall all of us get dry skin. You want to make sure you're moisturizing your face, arms, legs etc. This is important so you do not have scaly skin. You want to make sure that you glow so you better keep your skin in tip top shape

4. Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!!

This is one thing the beauty pros won't do for you the day of your wedding. You want to get your skin silky smooth, and this doesn't include just your arms and legs this includes your face as well! Since it's your big day you'll be layering on a bunch of beauty products. Exfoliating will help them stay in place and make you look like a bridal Goddess. Don't forget to exfoliate your lips as well ---your lipstick will go on more smoothly and last longer.

5. Tanning

Whether you are fake and baking or laying out you want to make sure that you have no tan lines. How awful would it be to wear a strapless dress and have a big X on your back or lines in the front. Sure Photoshop will take it right out but you can prevent this! If you have tan lines you can also use a self-tanner. But make sure you start applying it a few days in advance so you will look more natural, and you allow yourself to have a "base" color. Note to the wise you probably want to skip it on the day of your wedding. Unless you want to ruin your wedding dress or smell weird!
